Information we collect

The cart stores product identifiers and quantities in your browser’s local storage so the selection can survive a page refresh. Accounts are optional and store your name, email and a password hash. Guest orders use a secure order link and essential access cookies; no password is required. Orders store your items, totals, shipping address, research organization, research purpose, affiliation attestations, and payment status. Session cookies keep you signed in. PayRam processes USDC, ETH, and BTC payments on its hosted checkout; we store its payment reference, status and transaction hash, but never the private keys for your wallet. Paycron receives e-check routing and account details directly from the checkout; ElectricBioLabs does not receive or store those bank details. If you submit an inquiry, we store your name, email, optional organization, message, request type, and any product-selection selection in the site database for manual review. The owner can access those records in a protected management page.

Request records and private access codes

Your receipt includes a private code that lets you check a request without a customer account. The database stores a hash of that code; keep the original receipt safe. Only a matching reference and code can retrieve status updates. Request data remains stored until the business removes it; a final retention schedule has not yet been adopted.

For abuse prevention, the site stores temporary hashed request-rate identifiers and counters. Expired rate-limit records are removed during subsequent submissions. Purchase receipts are sent through our Google Workspace mailbox.

Joining the email list is optional and separate from making a purchase. When you opt in, we store your email address, consent date, subscription status and a hashed network identifier used for abuse prevention. Every marketing message will include an unsubscribe link. Leaving the list does not stop receipts or service messages required for an order.

Hosting and access

The hosting service may process routine technical information such as IP addresses, request logs, and access-authentication data. The storefront uses Vercel Analytics to measure visits and page views and has no advertising pixels configured.

Control your stored cart

You can remove items from the cart or clear site data in your browser to delete the saved selection. Browser privacy settings may prevent cart persistence.

Privacy requests

Contact us to request access to or deletion of your information. Order records may need to be retained for fulfillment, accounting or dispute resolution. The storefront and its inquiry inbox use Vercel and PostgreSQL.
